Wildlife Snorkelling Galway offers a fun, family-friendly introduction to Ireland’s underwater world.
Located in the stunning Killeany Bay, this three-hour trip combines a scenic boat ride with expert guidance, and unforgettable encounters with marine life.
After meeting your guides at the dive centre, you’ll suit up and join a short safety briefing before heading out to sea. During the 45-minute snorkelling session, you’ll explore kelp forests and the clear waters that surround the local seal colony. It’s an easy and enjoyable way to experience the Atlantic, with no previous experience required.
Your instructors provide full supervision and all necessary equipment, including wetsuit, boots, fins, mask and snorkel. Every participant also receives access to a digital learning package before the trip and a digital recognition card after completion.

The Weather
The weather doesn’t play a massive role in your experience, though in adverse weather conditions the dive may be postponed for an alternative date.

What to Wear
You will be in the water for the main part of this snorkelling experience in Galway, so, please bring your swimsuit. Scuba and snorkelling equipment will be provided.
