The Experience
Your Pocono driving experience will begin with detailed briefing on how the stock cars operate, track rules and safety equipment. Once you have your race suit and helmet on it's time to climb in, strap up and take control!
The driving experience is run in a follow the leader format where an instructor will lead 2 students on the track, following 4 car lengths behind. As you do more laps the lead instructor will increase their speed. You can expect to reach speeds of 160MPH. You will drive the stockcar for 8 laps (20 miles).
The Pocono Raceway is one of the most elite superspeedways in the USA and boasts the longest front-stretch in motorsports making this driving experience one you will never forget.
At then end of the driving experience you wil receive a certificate.
Vital Information
Participants must be able to operate a manual transmission. Participants must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license. Participants must be between 5'0" - 6'4"and 100 - 300 pounds. Participants must be in good health and be able to enter and exit the car unassisted through a window opening 15" high x 30" wide, sitting 36" off the ground, with little or no assistance.
The Weather
This experience is weather dependent. Every effort will be made to operate all sessions. You are required to report to the track and register in person on your scheduled date, regardless of current or forecasted conditions. Failure to report to the track in person will result in a no-show, thereby forfeiting your opportunity to participate in the experience. Refunds are not provided for no-shows or weather-related cancellations. In the event that the driving school cancels your session, you will be provided a rain check, good for one year from that date, to complete your program.
Session Length
You will be at the racetrack for around 3-4 hours. This time includes signing in, safety instruction, racing, photo opportunities.
Numbers
This voucher is valid for one person to enjoy the Pocono Raceway driving experience. There is a maximum of 20 participants per session.
Spectators
Friends and family are welcome to come to the track with you where there is a seating area for them to enjoy the action safely. Seating is limited though so we advise you take blankets or folding chairs for them to use.
What To Wear
Please dress comfortably and wear closed toe shoes. Driving suit (to wear over your clothes) and a helmet will be provided.
