The Experience
Your day starts with a registration process at the airfield followed by a brief introduction to the aircraft. This covers the essential safety protocols and what to expect from the flight profile before you head out to the tarmac.
Once you are out by the L-39 Albatros, you will get a look at the airframe before climbing into the cockpit. After getting strapped in and settled, the canopy closes and the engine spools up as you taxi out to the runway for takeoff. The jet climbs rapidly as you leave the ground, and you will quickly notice how sensitive the controls are compared to standard light aircraft.
While you are up in the air, the pilot will demonstrate exactly why this aircraft is used for military training worldwide. You will feel the true physical sensations of flight while working through dynamic manoeuvres like barrel rolls and Immelmann turns. If you want to see how the aircraft handles firsthand, you will also get the chance to take the controls yourself during the flight.
Because this is a certified flight, you will also get the details noted down in your pilot logbook as you head back to the terminal.

Important Information
To fly a fighter jet you have to be in good physical condition. The maximum height for this flight experience is 6.4ft and the maximum weight is 230lbs.
The Weather
The experience is weather dependent. If it is not possible to fly, a new date will be arranged for you.
Session Length
Your flight with the L-39 Albatros will take about 30 minutes, however the total experience will be approximately 3 hours, including a flight and safety briefing.
Numbers

Spectators
You are welcome to bring spectators to your experience who can admire your flight from the ground.
What To Wear
Please wear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes. The flight suit, a helmet and additional equipment will be provided by your pilot.
Availability
Your Fly a Fighter Jet in Florida package is available throughout the year. Please note that especially weekends are booked a lot. Therefore we recommend an early booking with the supplier but at least two weeks before the desired date.
