Lean back, let go and trust the rope!
Learn to Abseil in Sussex with a two-hour outdoor experience that’s equal parts challenge and fun.
Located at Blackland Farm near East Grinstead, this session offers a controlled way to face your fears from the top of a 33ft (10m) abseiling tower.
You’ll begin with a safety briefing and get to know the ropes, literally. Friendly, qualified instructors will walk you through every step, ensuring you feel confident before making your first descent. The session is ideal for first-timers or anyone keen to improve their technique.
Once you’ve completed a few runs, you can opt to increase the intensity with a hands-free or blindfolded challenge if you're up for it. These extras are completely optional but offer a rewarding test of confidence and control.
The course is open to adults aged 18 and above and runs between March and October. You’ll join a small group of 6–12 participants, creating a sociable and encouraging atmosphere.

Minimum age for this experience is 18 years old. Maximum weight for roped activities is 16 stone.
Max weight: 18 stone (115kg)
Suitable attire must be used to participate - this includes waterproofs, clothing and footwear: no boots or wellies. Consent form required for all participants. Bring as much food and water as required.

What To Wear
Wear loose comfortable clothes and trainers. No jeans, wellies or boots.
